Default settings, dark mode?

Dearest forum admins,

Could a dark mode be added? The sheer brightness compared to my terminal sears my retinas. Not sure if dark theme should be the default -- if there are themes out there that can auto-switch based on a browser's preferences (e.g., prefers-color-scheme) that would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if this can be changed as a global default for new users, but having the "show friendly redirect pages" option as disabled by default would be a good improvement. It removes those transition pages whenever you save/update something.

A dark mode theme is definitely something I can look into. I personally use the Dark Reader extension so I didn't really notice a lack of dark mode.

I'm just on the road, but when I get back to my desktop I'll definitely see what I can do. There's a ton of themes available.

As for the friendly redirect, I haven't seen an option to disable them globally (though I am on mobile so it isn't the easiest to navigate). Worst case I could manually remove them/make a post about it.

I've disabled friendly redirect globally, and forced a new theme that has a dark mode switch in the top right. That said, it may be a good idea to add more themes for people to choose from

Actually chose a slightly nicer one, but users can change their preferred theme in their user portal

Yeah, more themes are in the works for sure. Ayydan just wanted it to be a bit more modern for now. There is another theme you can select (as well as going back to the default theme) on the bottom of the page.

As I said above, Dark Reader wasn't too ba with the default theme if you wanna try that out.

This could also have just been a shitpost, but I am serious about more themes.
