I definitely went overkill on the reinforcement. Five layers of 5.8oz carbon at the root and three over the majority of the body. Had to patch a little at the tips since it's a lot of curve, but I'm really happy with how well the twill weave works around corners (though it's impossible to handle without damaging it).
This went impressively well. I'm absolutely thrilled with the workability of this stuff compared to the kevlar.
